As mentioned in the recent club mailing, we are planning a number of reunion events during the 150th anniversary year. The first of these will be a lunch for all those who were active at Thames during the 1970s, 1960s, 1950s or earlier.

This will be held on Sunday 20th September at the Clubhouse.
The bar will be open from 11am, with lunch served at 12:30.
The cost will be £15 for a buffet lunch including wine.

This event is very definitely open to lapsed and ex-members of the Club, as well as those who are still members. We are also conscious that many from this era may not be on email - so we would ask that you get the word out to your former crewmates and make this an event to remember.

A current member of the women's squad, Ellie Garratt, has kindly volunteered to coordinate bookings and arrangements. You can write to her at dinners@thamesrc.co.uk or at the clubhouse. Payment for the dinner should be made payable to Thames Rowing Club.

Similar events for those who rowed in the 1990s and 2000s will follow later in the 2009/10 season. Arrangements for these will be publicised in the near future.
